Joining our team as a Commercial Manager in one of our African Operations would mean working closely across the retail teams and local sales agents while liaising with various departments, namely, HR, Finance, Marketing to co-ordinate all operational support.
Longer term, having established yourself as a Commercial Manager, the next step could mean potentially either heading up your own Operation as an Operations Manager; or progressing to become a Project Manager or Regional Manager involved with new business launches and products.
The opportunities do not all begin and end in Africa, your career could also lead you to advance and develop into other roles based in either our UK Headquarters or Lebanon.
As a Finance Manager you will work directly with the Operations Manager and report into the Group Financial Controller based in London. You will hold responsibility for all financial, budgetary and risk management matters for your assigned country of responsibility.
Joining Editec will give you the opportunity to start as a Finance Manager and grow into a Finance Project Manager to assist in establishing new Operations or as a Regional Finance Manager, overseeing improvement and audit measurements across a Region.
Our IT division in Africa support SQL database, network, configuration of IT equipment including servers and all installations. The role has a commercial twist of being accountable for running commercial reporting hence understanding of the business will be critical. The roles range across Operations Supervisor Administrators, through to Deputy System Administrator as well as more senior roles of IT Engineers and Country IT Managers.
The Maintenance Division provides vital support for all electronic equipment that is used across Africa including the management of all spare parts and equipment stocks. Depending on your experience, there are numerous roles with the Division ranging from Junior Spare Parts Engineer, Spare Parts Manager, Maintenance Engineer and up to Maintenance Manager.
Your career could also progress further into Country Maintenance Manager or some of the Regional roles which incorporates the design and management of maintenance procedures as well as research and on-going development of all equipment.
